h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hello there.... my name's Njan... and I'm one of the h2g2 ACEs.. the ACEs are Assistant Community Editors... they (we) introduce new people to the guide, welcome them into the guide, and scout out for new entries in the guide.

Hence, as the first ACE to your page, let me be the first person to extend to you the official h2g2 welcome.

Hmm.. I walk through Oxford every morning, and tis never a problem for me.. But this is probably because it's half 7, and so there aren't many students out and about.

Couldn't one snipe at them from Magdalen Tower, or some such other high object?

I suppose I could ask the porters really nicely to allow me to go to the top of Tom Tower, or somehow bribe someone to allow me onto the top of Carfax...

I do, however, have a confession to make - I will be bringing my bike next year, although I do know MY highway code (please do not be offended by the capitalisation, I have not yet mastered nettiquette, so I continue to emphasise words the good old fashioned way!)

You know you really should be careful about giving yourself away so obviously - you cannot be a student if you are awake before 9AM every day - or is it your intention to make sure everybody knows about your status?

You could do either of those two things... if you need an AWP, give me a shout, I know some people who may be able to sort something out... *smiles innocently*... ((AWP = a sniper rifle with a 4km range))

Oh.. but I am a student! ... and I'm a member of the OUSAS (Space and Astronomical Society)...

lol. Sometimes h2g2 does do that.
