Hi there I have just visited your website and noticed the section where you showed 'proof' that the bible has better understanding of the Earth and Universe than science.

Here are some points I have made....

1. Science used to teach that the earth was flat. However, the Bible (correctly) states that the earth is a sphere in Isaiah 40:22.

(22 It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:

2. Science used to teach that the earth was flat. However, the Bible tells us (correctly) that the earth must rotate in Luke 17:34-36.

36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

3. Science used to teach that there were only 1, 100 stars. The Bible (correctly) tells us that there are innumerable stars in Jeremiah 32:22.

4. Science used to teach that the earth say on the back of a large animal. The Bible (correctly) tells us about the free float of the earth in space in Job 26:7.

5. The Bible (correctly) tells us that all things are made of invisible elements (we know these to be atoms). However, when the Bible was written, science was ignorant of this subject.

6. Science used to teach that all the stars were the same. The Bible (correctly) tells us that all stars are different in 1 Corinthians 15:41.

7. Science used to teach that light was fixed in place. Of course, the Bible states (correctly) that light moves in Job 38:19,20.

9. Science used to teach that the wind blew straight. However, the Bible (correctly) tells us that the wind blows in cyclones in Ecclesiastes 1:6.

10. Science used to teach that sick people must be bled. However the Bible states (correctly) that blood is the source of life and health in Leviticus 17:11.

One correct one wrong 4.5/10 (for having quoted a completely wrong passage as proof).)

12. Science used to teach that that the ocean was 'fed' only by rivers and rain but the Bible claims (correctly) that the ocean contains underground springs.

13. Science used to teach that when dealing with disease, you should wash your hands in still water but the Bible tells us (correctly) that you should wash your hands in running water.

14. Science used to be ignorant of this subject but they have now found that stars emit radio waves which are received on this earth as a high pitch. The Bible tells us about this (correctly) in Job 38.7.

15. Science teaches that all life evolved over millions of years. The Bible (correctly) teaches that the universe and all life were created in six days.

Total score 4.5/15 though you loose all right to say even these are correct by not showing proof that science was wrong on any of these.

Why? Surely it takes no more or less time to write a response here than it does to write an e-mail.

The difference, of course, is that only the recipient gets to see your e-mail, not everyone else. perhaps that is the reason?

Do not use this as an approval of the bibles supremacy over science. Since you have not even bothered to show any proof that science at the time was wrong.
