Well, at last the host of the science messageboard on the BBC website has revealed his true colours. He has finally decided to come out of the closet and reveal his anti-Creation views similar to those voiced by the more flamboyant zealots of the BBC evolution board. For example, 'postings that boil down to, "Evolution is wrong" fail this test.' So if you argue against evolution, based on science, you are still not allowed to post there. That is a complete disgrace and only fuels my belief that the UK has gone to the dogs as far as science is concerned. Science seems to be the new word for athiesm. If something involves God then it is not science.
Besides, the theory of evolution is NOT science. It is a belief (athiest at heart) hiding behind science. I mean, do you expect anyone to believe that Richard Dawkins is an objective scientist? Please look at the following link if you disagree- http://www.answersingenesis.org/home/area/re1/chapter1.asp.
And if there are any Christians here who believe that evolution is compatible with the Bible then I invite them to look at the following link:
http://goodnews49.tripod.com/id15.html
It is a site I hae set up although it is very much in the early stages of development.

Don't talk such dribble, please GN, and stop the usual creationist tactic of quoting out of context and lying about reality.
If you read the posts properly, what Ian G says is:
"Footnote: postings that boil down to, "Evolution is wrong" fail this test. Postings that boil down to, "Evolution is unproven" do not necessarily fail this test, if they also make a scientific point (ie one unconnected to religion or to personal opinion)."
i.e. "feel free to say that evolution is wrong IF YOU HAVE SOME SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE TO BACK IT UP", and that's your problem, isn't it? There is no EVIDENCE to back up Creationists' claims. Oh, they say there is, but it's always "too long to post", or "we've proved it before and aren't going to repeat it". When they do try and wave actual evidence in the face of reality, it is either wrong or a deliberately-manufactured falsehood (the Paluxy trackways spring to mind).
Further, please stop spreading the falsehood that evolution is a belief. Belief requires faith, and is therefore part of religion, since, by definition, faith directly excludes evidence. Since copious quantities of evidence for evolution abound, faith (and hence belief) is not required. Religion is thus excluded from any debate over the facts or processes of evolution.
Face it, Science has had enough of mythology, and we're simply drawing a clear line to make sure that you don't spread your lies through a credible forum. Whether your site is "credible" remains to be seen. I will check it out shortly.

Had a look at the site. Three first thoughts: if you are so confident in your beliefs, why have you not got any sort of ID on the site?
Second, why are you breaking copyright laws by posting the After Eden cartoon?
Third, why does opening your website open a link to a casino?

From the first paragraph in the Creation/Evolution section of your site:
"This theory is ridiculous and as Dr. Louis Bounoure (Former director of research at the French National Academy for scientific research) called it ‘a fairy tale for grown-ups. "
Bzzzt! Louis Bounoure never wrote or said that. Neither was he a director at the FNA.
And that's just in the first paragraph. If you can't get things like that right on the first page, what hope is there for the rest of the site?

I am not breaking any copyright law as AiG allow you to use up to 5 After Eden cartoons on your website.
'if you are so confident in your beliefs, why have you not got any sort of ID on the site?'
Very simple. I have just started work on it. I have only designed the basic backbone of the site but will do much more.
'why does opening your website open a link to a casino?'
I am really not sure. I shall have to investigate.

'why have you not got any sort of ID on the site?'
Sorry, I was not paying too much attention and thought (wrongly) that that stood for Intelligent Design. I thought it did seem a bit strange...
The reason I have not put any ID up is simply that I don't like puting my details onto the internet. I am not afraid of puting my name beside my opinions but I just don't like the idea of putting my details up for all to see.
Anyway, you have my e-mail address (at least one of them) so feel free to e-mail any questions. It doesn't have to be about evolution but obviosuly it is a Christian site. I am actually just about to post a nasty piece of hate-mail that the founder of No AnswersinGenesis sent me. He is a very nice man...
I don't worry, you might think I am mad but even a mad person is not genuinly nasty. I will not send 'spam' or personally reply to any e-mails sent to my site. And I don't post names on my site unless the person is well known of they ask for their name to be listed.

I think we both know how nonsensical Intelligent Design is! (Careful - people might think we agree about something!)
I don't expect you to put up your name and address (it would be hypocritical of me), but some sort of moniker would give a 'friendly face' that people could come to. How about "GN the Baptist"?

'I think we both know how nonsensical Intelligent Design is!'
I wouldn't say that but they seem to lack any real convictions. They just oppose atheism full stop. While I don't disagree with them on that, a lot of them just argue against atheism without saying what they actually believe in. And some of them are just plain theistic evolutionists only disliked by both Creationists and evolutionists. Creationists because they believe in evolution and evolutionists because with their form of evolution, their is nothing to teach!
'How about "GN the Baptist"?'
Not a bad idea. I am changing the main into page and perhaps I should put that up. There will be a lot of changes in it over the next few days so keep your eyes open!
And I didn't imagine myself saying this but thank you very much Kiteman! You have perfectly advertised my site!

Not that this will be of any reall interest but I have just updated my Christian and evolution section. Tomorrow, I shall make changes to the creation/evolution page and the main intro page.

I couldn't find any updates; it still seems to be full of nonsense. Including that incorrect quote on the first page.
Nice to see the Hovind Challenge gets a mention as well. If you still think it's honest and above-board perhaps you'd like to have a go at my £200 Santa Challenge yourself. It uses the same rules and, unlike Hovind, I have the money.

"They just oppose atheism full stop."
How does ID oppose atheism? I thought they didn't speculate on the nature of The Designer.

Advertised? The only people I have directed there are the very people you are trying (unsuccessfully) to oppose!

It isn't just athiests who disagree with you. There are many Pagans who believe that evolution is right and the big bang is to.
You don't have to be slave to dogma to have spiritual beliefs.

Well, GoodNews, I am surprised that you choose to reveal so much.
Have you ever looked up "paranoia" in the dictionary?
The wean.
