Making h2g2 look at your entry in GuideML mode is easy: from your homespace, look at the list of Guide entries at the left bottom, click on the 'edit' link next to the entry. When the edit window has appeared, you scroll down and find a radio button where you can select "GuideML" mode and then click on "Change Style" - done!

Did I tell you there were only few things to change? That's true

GuideML bits (the GuideML help page is at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A187229):
* apostrophes: you better use >'< than >`< (that's the way your word processor puts it, I guess) - and please also change the double quotes >"< into single ones.
* adding emphasis: use the italic tag in GuideML

* For an Edited Guide entry, no 'I's and 'We's please. This rule applies only to Edited entries, but that's what we are aiming at

* Please forget the tag, the Paragraph tag which encloses, err..., a paragraph, makes the text look much nicer.

* "Denglish" (Deutsches Englisch):

finally, I have found time to make the changes you proposed, I hope everything's perfect now. As for the carnival greeting, I don't have the slightest idea which way it is right, because I never liked Carnival except as a kid and then only for the loads of sweets you get. Come to think of it, I loved Saint Martin's Day exactly for the same reason. Growing up in the Rhineland is a very calorie-laden business...

Well, I'm not a real Carnival freak but there's an alter ego of mine around these places... who just likes to make fun out of everything (just look out for Helaaf who is hibernating till Nov. 11).

Entry is looking great and beautiful! I had some more points to add over at (? where was it, at the GMC?), but I'll find them.

Anyway, they were only minor amendments, and I'd say take the entry to Peer Review! It's ready for the Guide!
