I would hope that Scouts actually read articles before passing comment or criticism. Your note in Plastic Storage Containers showed you'd failed to read a good half of the article. Tish-tish!

Um... no.
I believe the section reads perfectly well, and guess the sub-editor did too.
I was trying to point out, however, that a bonfide Scout should, perhaps, avoid short and ill-considered quips and spend more time actually reading through stuff.
Sorry if that sounds heavy, but I've been there - I was six months an Administrator at a large online community [URL removed by moderator] - and you have, of late, spent much time posting short, ill-conceived, snappy comments on all sorts of things. This will not improve your popularity rating or provide copious Brownie Points.

It was an edited entry. Reading it had nothing to do with my status as a scout. It wasn't criticism. It wasn't a quip. I was just asking a question. I got an answer. All was well.
I agree that the entry reads perfectly ok. It was unfortunate that, by chance, I didn't pick up the correct meaning. As soon as I received an answer it became clear. The entry which everyone understands perfectly is the entry which says nothing.
I'm not in this for popularity, nor for brownie points. I'm not about to break the CoC - but nor am I going to transform into an online when I'm closer to a in 'real life'. I will however consider my postings to scouty places like Peer Review a little more carefully in future - though I haven't made terribly many there in recent days - circumstances, you know?
No apology was needed on your part - you're well within limits. Thank you for the advice - I do appreciate it.
