Do Guidelines questions fall within the scope of Alt House Rules?

I thought you might be interested in this conversation (see link below), a sort of precedent or clarification about the Guidelines for the Edited Guide. But I'm not sure if you wanted Alt House Rules to cover Guidelines too. I asked on Editorial Feedback for clarification about opinion pieces in the guide. Recent entries like "Vietnam - America's Mistake" and the "Democratic" perspective on 2000 US Presidential Election seemed more opinionated than I thought would be acceptable in the Edited Guide. http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/F47997?thread=173200&post=1855001#p1855001 His response seems reasonable, but I'm not sure what kind of entries would now be rejected for failing to be "well-balanced." It seems like you might tack "my perspective" on any opinion entry, and it might skate through if well-written. Later, Deidzoeb

I did see that, actually... I didn't want to put such issues into the Alt House Rules, because it's hard enough trying to interpret the rules & terms - and I'd fall even more behind the times. I might chat at that forum, if I figure it's worth it...
Which reminds me, I need to update the URLs section in view of the latest announcement...
