Fenny paying a visit from work...
Fenny Reh Craeser <Zero Intolerance: A593796> Started conversation Jul 2, 2001
Hi people I don't know who's best to ask, Lucinda I think. I'm visiting in my role of Spreader of Hope, Happiness and Tolerance (not Xanthia, then! :)) and bearing a peace offering... but I thought I'd stop off and ask you to help. On THAT string(http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/F52180?thread=124786&latest=1) which has upset LeKZ so much, there is a response to a Zero Intolerance remark I put up. I quote from MoG: "I don't know if it's appropriate, and I certainly won't go do it myself and stir up any more ruckus, but if you think it's wise, drop off this

Oh, and thanks for understanding about the Roleplaying, and complimenting me on my acting!
The complete Buzz sensation I get when I'm surprised by my subconscious's autonomous decision to speak up in lectures, and when I'm disorientated and don't know which road I'm on, and *very* often when I'm just a bit too tired - that's something that needs more definition. But I don't think I can see it clearly, it's too subjective. More work, I think!

Well Martin is official diplomat just at the moment, but I'll field this one...
Arpeggio is subscribed to that conversation, so she'll have seen the - I'm tempted myself to leave it as be, and let the flamage die down somewhat, rather than forcing what may be seen as an insincere apology onto her. But I'll trust your judgement, which has been impeccable so far
Love,
Lucinda

Lucinda -
That's so sweet! Three cheers for a lovely response that made me smile & gave me a warm feeling!
I don't usually use , but back!
LOL - Impeccable judgement? I'm actually up for the award for the Most Gullible Being in Cyberspace. Yes, I'm treating it as sincere, because my personal One-World Ethics (see my homepage for more details as my "Path of Enlightenment" grows) won't let me treat it as insincere. I hope I'm right, for all concerned!
Archangel Galaxy Babe has winged her way into that thread, and seems to have taken the rose, so she may drop it off. I'm tempted to give the as a general goodwill flower, without attaching any name to it. Please tell Kassandra, Sara, and the others, that I'm perfectly happy for them to email me if they want - I wouldn't dream of chasing them with an email at the moment - but also pass on my best wishes in the event that LeKZ does take time out. I know this is something I ought to do - I have one article to write, and never seem to sit down to write it!
Love back - and Cheers to a fellow roleplayer (it seems!)

It was certainly sincere - you may be gullible intellectually - I wouldn't know, but emotionally and empathically you show impeccable judgement

Definitely room for a Mutual Admiration space, then. I was hooked on the Names thread, until someone decided to dismiss it all and it spiralled a bit!
I'm not sure about intellectual gullibility - I'm so completely fatigued by Peace Talks that I no longer believe they'll come out positive, but any politician could tell any story and I'd believe it completely. I tend to look for all sides (including the ones that haven't been published yet) in an attempt not to show how gullible I am. But it remains an embarrassing fact that I did (at the age of thirteen) believe they'd taken the word 'gullible' out of the dictionary.
NNNNOOOOOOOOOO!!! You now know my most embarrassing secret! Keep it as confidential as I have (barring loads of lurkers) and the rest of the world should know by Friday! With the lurkers, everyone should know by Wednesday!

Quick one to Xanthia
Thanks for backing out of That Thread. I admire you and respect your calm (& I'm an evangelical little cow who moos about Peace - surprised no one's laughed at me yet!)

Thanks again X.
'Backing out' - perhaps I meant to say 'Backing down'? Whatever, it's immaterial, but thanks anyway.

I just clicked to visit LeKZ - empty space.
Has she been sent out?
Please pass my best to all, particularly Kassandra, and my hope I can see them again someday. I'm off to post at Moxon-space.

Several Postings later, both enraged and empassioned, empathic and erm ... (give up, beaten!)
Just to say thank you for being so nice. And to reiterate that I've left *her* a message. And to recommend you to drop over to my page and admire the new links.
And to mention that (short of a couple of brief lunch-minutes, I am not likely to be online at work) I envy you for being a student on holiday. Way to go Martin/MRD/L/X/m: That's not fair! I've been a student, and I've been employed at work, and I know which one I'd prefer!

I'm about to go from studentship to work - don't make me any more miserable! I've added you to my list of interesting 'fauna' on h2g2. And to my heart.
Love, Lucinda

I think I just added another message of thanks - but that's so nice that it makes any complaint about duplication irrelevant and redundant!
Good luck not being a student!. Where will you no longer be a student (whence and whither?) and what will you be a graduate in?

While you wait for Martin to answer ... how are you nowadays, Fenny? There is something I just want to tell you: MoG is not the bad person here, she offered a sort of peace to you and to LeKZ on her "It had to be said..." thread. Also, MoG and LeKZ' dispute was not the reason why LeKZ was suspended. It was due to an exchange between Pat(a 4-year old personality of LeKZ) and some even younger children, Arpeggio, and Niwt (a 13-year-old researcher, ACE and Scout here on h2g2). It only got toucht for a very brief while, but that was considered a serious enough reason, because Arpeggio had received a 'warning' already and had actually exposed herself and the others of LeKZ to the harm that later happened, as a result of being too trusting.
And Lucinda and others, how are youse holding up nowadays, eh?

Graduate in Comp Sci, for what it's worth...
We're doing fine, thanks pillowcase - though still no better at small talk...

Willem Posted Jul 5, 2001
Have you been very busy with LeKZ lately?
Fenny paying a visit from work...
Dorothy Outta Kansas Posted Jul 5, 2001
I imagine that question is directed at Lucinda? I had an email from LeKZ, and responded - and was also added to her update mailing list. Whichever of you told her where to get my email (or if she worked it out for themselves), thanks. I'd been worrying about the situation for most of the day (not getting any work done!)
But I can't say I've been as busy as most of you must have been - we only initiated contact yesterday.

Not particularly - I blither to her from time to time, and she sends me insightful and intelligent replies...
Though I need to get MyRedDice to build some bridges with her - they do seem to have got off on something of the wrong foot...
Ahh well, such things happen -Lucinda
