Hi! Thanks for replying. Anna's sorted the problem now
I just checked out the synopsis for 'The Dice Man' on amaz- I mean, a well known internet book retailer (don't want to get in trouble with the moderators now ) and it looks really good. I might just buy it!
Anyhoo, that's all.

See - many problems in life are solved if you just wait long enough... (if you wait a really long time, you die, which solves everything ).
Good luck in your scouting career!

ahh - it would appear you've never read Iain M Banks?
He's a sci-fi writer - his Culture is the closest thing to a techno-utopia anyone's written about and still managed to make interesting... good stuff.

I dispute that. Have you read any William Gibson? Creator of Cyberpunk, and all round good guy. If a bit skinny.
