Haven't been around for a while, so was catching up. Saw a Luke R article on the Month of h2g2 page. Just knew who must have created it. Thought it was excellent. Sorry for posting here, but wasn't sure if you were still monitoring that page as the article went up a while ago.

Thanks I wasn't even that depressed that they went and starred out the 'f**k for fun and profit' quote...

I didn't even notice the f**k. They left in 'Dice living is a load of s**t'. Anyway, since it refers to the book, perhaps you should ask them to put the real f-word back in (after all, it is considered acceptable in quotes):
From the House Rules : "Some swearing - such as quotes from poems or plays in reviews, for example - may be editorially acceptable, but in everyday communication, it is not."

BTW, I gave serious thught to pressing the "breaks the House Rules button" on your "The Copyright Game" just to see what would happen! Mainly because I couldn't think of anything witty to put in.

I already complained once - that's why they let me put sh*t back in, but f*ck was considered beyond the pale - even inside a quote.
It's funny - you never think these things are important... until your own entry is effected. At which point, it becomes a huge issue which everyone should care about...
Key: Complain about this post
Congratulations
