It's raining and cold here, too. Summer's been and gone for this year.

I'm feeling better than I did. Typical I have to be ill over the first week of my only holiday in a long time... Still, I've had the chance to have a few good chats with 'tother TK, which is aaaalways good

I'm not exactly 'up North'... lol. In fact, depending on where you are in Wales at the mo, we're probably about as far North as each other.
Work's crap, but I've got a couple of weeks off, which is good. Missed out on a stag do at the weekend due to being ill, which is bad Got my mate's lad's 1st birthday party on saturday, then a Wedding a week on sat. It's all go, just wish I could be doing something more productive this week than lying in bed. Or at least lying in bed for better reasons

spent today and yesterday at work *groan* and it was sooooo boring. i have a wedding coming up next saturday and we are going to birmingham for a short break a couple of days after that. otherwise i'm summer holidays gal.

baby parties are always great especially playing silly games and watching the baby have more fun with the paper than the presents!

a girl from my primary school was in the local paper today, she hanged herself. nice stuff huh? thats the sort of people that went there. was your primary school good?

why was it the worst ever gig? was it your band? are you in a band? what do you play if you are? i'm nosy mood today.

its great to be home but it has rained more here quite ironically than it did in wales but its folk week and my friend is in the carnival tomorrow coz she's princess so i'm down the beach to wave at her and chuck confetti and stuff at her, should be a laugh.

anyway i have written a LOT this post so i'm gonna ahut up now and let you reply to my million questions!

Yes, it was mny band. I play rhythm guitar. It was bad because all sorts of things were working against us, including the fact that our drummer walked out on us half an hour before we were due on (he was 'ill'- it was a self-induced illness, and it wasn't due to alcohol...), and the replacement was basically the first guy who answered his phone who could make it in time. He'd never played wth us before and didn't know any of the songs. Also, we haven't practised together for a good month at least.

Slap the drummer? Get rid of the twat. We're going for a new one. As for the music- all sorts- we play stuff by the Beatles, the Doors, Queen, the Darkness, Jet, Free, Bad Company, Van Morrison, Guns n' Roses....

Lol. For some reason (probably the 4 pints I've just imbibed) that sounds oddly attractive.
