Right this is getting ridiculous!
Every time I find some time to come back here and let people know I am about and ready to get on with things, the following day something blows up in my face.
This particular prolonged absence is due to some git hacking one of my main web servers (and no not the Code Red malarkey).
Oh how I love spending days (and nights) reinstalling windoze and all that jazz while the phone rings off the hook.
Hackers will be first against the wall when the revolution comes. Personally I cannot wait! Although I don't normally hold with violence I could quite comfortable rip the hands off a few of them with a rusty pair of garden shears! Low life pond scum sucking invertebrates!
(Please note I mean no offence to the programmers out there who like to refer to themselves as hackers - Respect)
Oh well let us see how long I can engage in some banter for this time...

News of my death has been greatly exaggerated!
Is it really a month since I was last here?
Difficult to believe the time has flown by so quickly.
Well here I am again, but for how long is anyone’s guess. Last month took on the sort of panic that can only usually be achieved by trying to steer round a hairpin in an F1 car using your knees and sadly as a result on the list of things I completely failed to do was post anything to H2G2.
Sorry.
I will try not to let it happen again. On the plus side I did manage to complete the big project I was working on and fit in a holiday to lovely St. Ives (Cornwall UK).
Well back to the job in hand as it seems that there are quite a few table art requests to attend to and I still have those 2 half finished guide entries sitting there taunting me.
