Hi adib,
sorry about the delay, i simply hadn't checked out my page
dad is doing much better, thank you. he even went to the office a couple of times, but mainly he is taking it easy. he *is* over 70, and he deserves the rest.
i'm waiting for the people to come and repair and finish the floor. only the sitting room area has wooden panels, but all the furniture from there are in the kitchen and my office right now, and once they start, i won't be able to have access to the rest of the flat because of the polish and its infernal stench. still, hopefully, by this time next week i'll be back upstairs
i've been lazy. for one, it's about 40 degrees here and i feel like a permanent siesta also, since the elections (and let's NOT talk about that) all of the internet connections have increased censorship, including all of the livejournals, which means that about 80% of my favorites folder is out of reach right now so like the good girl that i am, i sat down and finished my work.
sorry,. that was somebody else instead i read ALL of the Mountie Slayer (due south/buffy/... crossover fanfiction), all 6 arcs, 4 inbetween arcs and "fanfictions" *sigh* what a great piece of writing. lots of gore - it is about demons after all - but lots of comedy, funny dialogs and WAFF (warm and fuzzy feelings) i think this was the third time i read it, not counting the favorite pieces i read every few weeks.
so, what have you been up to?

Hi
Well I have just been my usual busy self too, at work and stuff. I have re-written the womens rights article that everyone was debating over. I might have to break it in to a three parter though.
First section dealng with introduction and Muslim womens rights in so called Islamic countries... An hey Iran is not on that list. Your the only person I can bug for information on womens rights in Iran and you've been busy and away. I'm sure you count your self lucky lol.
Second section could be about what the Qur'an says about Women and so hence there rights in a proper Islamic country.
The third part would be the why things are not like they should be in so called Islamic countries and the historical place of women and what can be done to inpprove womens rights in Muslim countries.
I bugged loads of friends from all over the world to get an accurate portrayal of womens rights in their respective countries hohohohoo.
Anyway where are my manners. Hope you are well and every thing and I am glad to hear your dad is back on his feet, and yes at 70 he definitly deserves to take it easy.
Lazy.... you.... surley not, specially if the somebody else who looks like you finished all your work, sorry to hear about the cencorship due to that thing we wont mention here. If there is anything you ugently need just send us its URL and and I can e mail it to you, if that will work.
Take care and continue the er hard work of, er reading slash, yes thats it, very hard work reading slash, you might get eye strain...

quote: "sorry,. that was somebody else"
i DID NOT DO any work, because i was busy re-reading the mountie slayer
it was worth it though. it has a lot of traumatic scenes, but the writing style is that of the "due south" tv series, which means that its more funny than depressing. it cheered me up a lot - most of the stories should come with the warning: "do not drink or eat while reading this"
wait - try this one
http://www.wyrmrock.com/leatherpancake/PiratesoftheGimiguchi.htm
it's a spoof alternate universe fanfiction of the fanfiction, and yes, it is slash, but to quote the story itself:
>>...The music swells dramatically as they’re about to kiss-)
Too Tall Dutch (calling from on deck): Captain!
(He looks up, listening. The music stalls. He grits his teeth, hoping whatever it is will go away. The music swells again as he and Lord Thomas start leaning in again, their heads tilting-)
Xander: Captain!
(The music stalls again, gives up, and goes home.)
sorry to inflict this on you, and please excuse me - now i have read the **** thing again myself.
take care
nim
(disclaimer: the above quoted part belongs to the genius minds who created the mountie slayer and its diverse universes. i am just humbly worshipping at their altar)
