My biggest excuse is several computer crashes/upgrades. I lost my BBC log-in name (not the password as I thought ) the first time around and decided to wait until after the upgrading. I've been getting the h2g2 GAs digest from YAHOO!groups regularly though. Made me homesick for you guys.
What have i been doing? Well, lazing around (am a cat after all 
), getting more stuff for my flat, and working on some project with falern. Not for here, for RL. Hopefully we will manage to get something published in the winter.
And yes, the last thing I have done is getting bumped by a car and almost twisting my ankle - the limp is in RL too
And the next thing I'm going to do is going for one week to Thailand starting December 2

Oh God, GB, that reminds me: I had SUITOR some weeks ago! My own fault for wearing a spaghetti-straps-bra-less decolte evening gown to cousins wedding (I was the proverbial lady in red)
Anyway, they guy is the son of my father's cousin or something in that line, I don't see much of that side of the family. He came with his uncle so we could "meet", and I told my father that in a party, if I had to choose between him and a 14 year old boy for conversation, I would choose the boy. But I promised to see him one more time, and it was AWFUL! He doesn't read, he didn't comment on my Tutankhamon poster, didn't comment on my grandmother's batics, null conversation. My jaw hurt from keeping talking all the time without getting any reaction. And when I ended having a nervous breakdown all over my parents for having wasted a whole evening, he called to ask about our next "date"!!!! I had to get a bit rude to him, and he still didn't get the point that I'm not interested. In fact I doubt he has gotten the point even now, he had his uncle calling us up several times. We found out - later - that he is almost 4 years younger than I am. I still get angry thinking about him. Aaarrrrgh!
We have a saying here in Iran, roughly translated as "Everybody gets struck by lightning, I get struck by the oil-lamp!" That's how I felt! Especially after my youngest cousin netted such a nice husband

Some sightseeing - with those tours you can book from the hotel. And shopping - VHS tapes and DVDs I can't get here in Iran, which means mostly anime You can get almost anything else here, but there ain't a lot of people who know about anime , so few takers and almost nothing offered.
Got "Ghost In The Shell" on VCD though a few days ago. Great movie!
