oh gorgeous. My #1 Gruesome has picked up on one of my CDs of classical stuff - like a sort of Pop Classics, and has discovered the joy of playing classical music while she's going to sleep.

My last purchase from Amazon was classic as well ... The Royal Guardsmen, and every tune they ever wrote about Snoopy. smiley - biggrin

Oh yes, there are 5 or 6 about his engagements with the Red Baron. For me, it's not properly the Christmas season until I hear "Snoopy's Christmas" on the radio. smiley - smiley

An "evaluation" copy of the CD has already been offered to a Lady in Australia ... With a surface-mail address, one more such disc is no bother.

*not pointing out that there is an e-mail address to be found on a PS, disguised as an envelope smiley - whistle*

You really ARE popular. Stuff from all over the world. Perhaps you should try a little project that Lady Pennywhistle did some time ago ... She set up a post office box (#42, in fact) and invited friends to send post cards of their home domains. She accrued a dazzling array of pics and things from all over the world. Literally.

well, I have a small group of friends, we are in a few differnt countries, who communicate mostly via a private message board. I often get things in the post from them. And the occasional visit.

But I'm also a member of the Postcrossing site. And although 50% of my cards come from Finland, I have had some other really interesting cards.

What a cool idea. I may give that some thought ... though this town has very little about itself to offer. Hmmmm ...

I found a shop here selling b/w postcards from about 30 years ago. So far they have been well received - although some people swear they are from 1980s East Germany!

So, two of the things i ordered off eBay are here - which is great - and I'm now waiting for a pair of bermudas for Gruesome #1 and a blouse (pink!) for me.
