We were grocery shopping this evening, and I found some Belgian dark chocolate with ginger. I remember you telling me it was , so I bought one. Haven't tasted it just yet...

They also have bars with Indian curry powder, matcha powder, and green cardamom. And bacon, which doesn't strike my fancy.

I think I might lob you over some of this powdered cocoa I found- it's delish.

And we still watch Wallace & Gromit every weekend. Thank you muchly. We've also had several people over to watch the Dr Who Christmas special, as it has yet to air over here. You're a lifesaver!

How's things? Gosh, I've been fairly quiet on hootoo lately and it seems you've been somewhat so, too. What happened with work?

(I realize you've got that promotion- just wondered if you'll be at all fairly compensated- and how 's situation is)

well... fairly compensated... I doN't have to clock in and out now - which means my salary is what it is without getting paid overtime. It's "compensated" by them averaging everything I earned last year, rounded up a little bit and then divided by 13 (we get an extra half salary in June and November)

Since we won't be getting a pay rise this year, I suppose it might work out fairly even (I'll be trying to avoid working too many hours ) but I won't know until I get my payslip at the end of the month. (we're taxed until the pips squeak here)

Oh ginger chocolate!! I have chocolate today - pralines - because it's English Mothers' Day. And I feel awful because I forgot to send my mum anything
