I stumbled on the concept while reading a quite lousy entry on slash, obviuosly written by someone (male?) who hadn´t understood what slash is all about...

I´ve seen the movie Stargate, and a few episodes of the TVseries but I can´t recall the character you´re referring to

Hi Dragonqueen! (cool name)

where's the entry on Slash? I'd be interested.

I've read some interesting Harry Potter Slash (I like Snape too, but my favourites to slash are Sirius Black/Lupin - the 3rd film only confirmed that one for me)

Speaking of whic... I got to see Brokeback Mountain last night. as a fan of "cowboys" since I was a wee girl, and as a Lady Writer Of Slash, you can imagine that I was smiley - drool all the way through. Not a terribly big fan of Heah Ledger before I went in, all I can say is...

WOW!

damn fine acting, sir and smiley - drool too

as for Jake what'shisface... smiley - drool to the power of .... 50? what a gorgeous guy he is! (yep, the eyes totally won me over, his lips/mouth... hands....) smiley - drool

and oh my... it was very very very sexy too. And I smiley - wah at the end, along with my friend.

Annie, which was the hot kiss you meant? I fund them all incredibly erotic. smiley - loveblush

anyway, Drool calender is here:
http://www.geocities.com/clanger_major/Drool2006.html

there are two, because a lot of us here like sci-fi so we have an Alternate Reality version too smiley - drool

that's here:

enjoy!!

Reefgirl, Dr Z is more smiley - drool in character than "scrubbed up" smiley - biggrin

Sho, thanks for the links

I liked Brokeback Mountain, in spite of it being a love story, but the reasons for that is beyond smiley - drooling smiley - laugh, so I leave that subject for now

I found out about slash reading this article in Bitch http://www.bitchmagazine.com/archives/04_03slash/slash.shtml a couple of years ago and since I dig in to the world of slash every know and then. Much is crap, and boring reruns...but every now and then there are these little pieces of lemons that triggers the glands smiley - evilgrinsmiley - blushsmiley - drool

It was this entry I read A632062, but googling hootoo I found more - A2767719 is better

...and if you take suggestions for the Calendar I´d go for Snape smiley - drool ... actually I´ve named next month´s Thingite Calender Snape A4321559smiley - laugh

ah yes, I've read that online thing before, I have a few (ok, a lot of) issues with it.

Mr.Prophet's fic entry, according to him, needs updating. But I prefer not to stop him actually writing his fic, so I'm not nagging ! (*waves to Mr.P* - who, as far as I know, still lurks here occasionally)

That other slash entry... well, I skimmed it, with some work it could be good for the guide, I think.

Right, I'm just waiting for the sweaty men with swords to flounce accross my screen... smiley - drool

There was a trailer at the pictures last night for another film with the rather smiley - drool Clive smiley - drool Owen smiley - drool but I can't remember what it was called.

Oh and Tillsmiley - droolSchweiger is in Arthur too.

Right... I watched King Arthur. What a pile of Doggy doo doos. Hollywood mangles and rewrites a perfectly good, perfectly well known legend....

I mean, this film has everything for a Sho to smiley - drool at: sweaty men with swords charging around on their horses doing derring deeds. Or whatever.

But no, the suits have to faff with the story...

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggghhhhhhhhh smiley - grr

still, male-totty wise it was fantastic!!! and I am now in lurve smiley - loveblush with another Dane... who is even nearly as old as me and therefore I am not straying into dangerous (but tempting) toy-boy territory. (shame)

so, in no particular order, the top male totty from King Arthur:

Clive Owen - oh my, he is more gorgeous than ever he was playing yuppies in the early 90s. smiley - droolsmiley - drool

Ray Stephenson - yep, him again. Playing a rough & ready "roman" soldier with a shaven head smiley - droolsmiley - drool

Til Schweiger - playing a Saxon (rubbish role, he is so much better than this) with an improbable beard. smiley - droolsmiley - drool

Hugh Dancy - playing Galahad with a beard smiley - drool
http://www.imdb.com/gallery/granitz/2455/HughDancy_Ausse_2539081_400.jpg?path=pgallery&path_key=Dancy,%20Hugh&seq=2

Ioan Gruffudd - as Lancelot... oh my, dark curly hair and cheekbones to die for (he fits the Sho Totty Template perfectly) smiley - droolsmiley - drool
http://www.imdb.com/gallery/ss/0349683/04_KAC-C211-17A-B.jpg?path=pgallery&path_key=Gruffudd,%20Ioan&seq=15

and

Mads Mikkelsen - never heard of him. He played a chap called Tristan (with a hawk) and oh my... smitten. Lovely accent, and ... he looks wild. Like he definitely knows how to have a good time smiley - winkeyesmiley - droolsmiley - droolsmiley - drool
http://www.imdb.com/gallery/hh/0586568/HH/0586568/817MadsMikkelsen.jpg?path=pgallery&path_key=Mikkelsen,%20Mads

plus, the non-droolable but fantastic anyway Ray Winstone and the equally fantastic but non-droolable Ken Stott.

apparently Kiera Knightly looks hot in woad.... no comment from me, she has too many teeth and she's too skinny for me.

smiley - chef kept smiley - musicalnote... we eat ham and jam and spamalot...smiley - musicalnote - frankly if the cast had joined in it would have been a blessed relief! and as for when they were ouside the fort shouting up at the guards, I wished I really was watching Monty Python and the Holy Grail. smiley - laugh

Mads Mikkelsen is a danish actor, who also has been a dancer. He has done several movies in Scandinavia, amongst them some Dogma films. He also played a drug dealer in Pusher and Pusher2.

One of his more longstanding characters was the police detective Allan Fisher in the danish TV series "Rejseafdelningen", which I think was presented as "Unit One" to an international audience.

The problem, Sho, is that the film you watched had the wrong title. It wasn't King Arthur; it was The Swords of the Magnificent Seven.
