thank you...
More Sheridans?
Nope! Haven't even heard that particular song...
But, talking about Counting Crows, the "...August and Everything After"-album is probably one of the most beautifull albums ever made!
Raining in Baltimore - Counting Crows

Yes please.
You know so many people told me that they didn't think there was anything special about that album. But I just really like it!
Celsius - Kent

oohh, Raining in Baltimore... Why didn't I think of that one?
*pours Feffi some more Sheridans, then pours for self. Fills both coffeemugs*
Yellow - Coldplay
Feffi (Keeper of playground sunbaths on even days) Posted Jan 23, 2001
Thanks!
Looks like I have to leave for today. You just make sure you won't work too long!
*returns cigarette box and tucks (or is it tugs or maybe tuggs - whatever) blanket around One-Eye*
See you tomorrow
You're not alone - Embrace

*Is there a window? I guess there is...if not there is one now - sits down at the window watching the night sky*
Hush - Deep Purple

*makes coffee, finds two mugs, fills them, joins Feffi by the window But to 1-i, there's only snow, fog and rain outside*
Good morning
*hands to Feffi*
Who's Embrace? Don't think I've ever heard of them.
Nothing else matters -Metallica
Feffi (Keeper of playground sunbaths on even days) Posted Jan 24, 2001
*by now Feffi only sees rain clouds and a wet carpark - not even snow*
Good morning! And thanks for the coffee.
Embrace is a British band. As I told you I am no good in categorizing music, but I guess they propably belong to the same corner like Travis and Coldplay. I think their latest album was called Drawn from memory
2x4 - Metallica

Your welcome!
Guess I'll have to check them out, then! (I don't even have a Travis or Coldplay record... Something tells me I should buy them though, as everyone I know that likes Kent also likes Travis and Coldplay....)
soon forget - Pearl Jam (that's this strange ukulele song)
Feffi (Keeper of playground sunbaths on even days) Posted Jan 24, 2001
Do you ever listen to the radio or watch MTV? Because both of them are or were broadcasted quite frequently over here.
Most popular Travis songs are propably Why does it always rain on me and Driftwood. Coldplay: Yellow and Trouble:
Oh no, I see,
A spiderweb, it's tangled up with me,
And I lost my head,
The thought of all the stupid things I said,
Oh no what's this?
A spider web, and I'm caught in the middle,
So I turned to run,
The thought of all the stupid things I've done,
I never meant to cause you trouble,
And I never meant to do you wrong,
And I, well if I ever caused you trouble,
O no, I never meant to do you harm.
Wishlist - Pearl Jam (In my opinion the best lyrics Eddie Vedder ever produced!)

I know, I've heard them on the radio, just haven't gotten around to buy them yet!
Don't have MTV... (probably just as well, if did, I'd probably never get anything done...)
Is there a song that goes with Asterix???
Feffi (Keeper of playground sunbaths on even days) Posted Jan 24, 2001
You know I just had this idea to base the poster I have to make about my internship on that comic Asterix and the Swiss...I mean it's a silly idea to have to make such a poster so I might as well just make a silly poster? I might just go and buy the comic tonight and see what I can do with it...
Hmm... "Run to the hills" - Iron Maiden? Nah...

hmm...
Feffi (Keeper of playground sunbaths on even days) Posted Jan 24, 2001
Well, I just talked (well e-mailed) to my brother about it and he said I should keep it rather scientific......but as I don't know what scientific statements I could make, I might just do a bit of both science and Asterix
Anyway, I'll have to read it once more first to see whether there are any pictures/statements I can use...
U2 - Elevation

If you get graded on it, it's probably best to do what your brother says...
I have a hectic day in front of me (Things to do before I go on a seminar tomorrow, meeting at 13.00, another meeting at 13.30, which lasts the rest of the day....), so I think I'll be going now...
I'll be away on that same seminar Friday too, I might get a chance to drop by and say hi at the beginning or the end of the day, but don't count on it
Right, I'm off! See you Monday at the latest!

So I decided to stop by and have some self-conversations and listen to some music then and again as I anyway don't have much to do (apart from getting bored and counting the hours )
Btw. I am not actually getting graded for my report and the poster, it's luckily just a matter of passing or not, but not passing still means not getting the Vordiplom (kind of a pre-diploma).
This Pink Floyd song (at least I think it is Pink Floyd) starting So you think you can tell heaven from hell, blue skies from grey...
Feffi (Keeper of playground sunbaths on even days) Posted Jan 25, 2001
This place turned into a -office. Everybody working on this floor of the building and most of the others went out for a meeting. But it is actually quite nice, I got myself a capuccino, opened the window and enjoy working in peace
Yep, its Pink Floyd. It's called Wish You Were Here...:-)
