Hi Phred and Mrs Fred,

What has happened.? For such a long time I had this wonderful story of your life together in retirement coming to me. Then suddenly it stopped and you started blogging.

Now, thank goodness I see that you are going to share your wonderful experiences and travels with us all.

Well done the Post!! and of course Lil who I see was also one of your friends. I have lost all my early posts so all our correspondece is gone. I have asked Gnoman is to try and retrace them and find my old names of alsoRan, 1 and 2 again.
Incidentally I see that you are comiong over next year. Could you both not try a visit here? Last year you went to Italy I seem to remember. |it would be wonderful to meet you both.

Thank you so very much dear friend. !! It is really kind of you. However, I must see if I can retrieve my lovely conversations with all my friends, and particularly Mr and Mrs Phred.

I am so sorry but I have unfortunately experienced two weeks ago a "global something or other". In essence it means that there is a shortage of blood to mh brain because of carotid artery build up of you know what. the result is that my memory is disappearing fast - and one of the things I cannot remember is = Was it Wittgenstein who wrote your pseudonym? I am really quite bothered - it is extraordinary just to forget - like a huge void. anyway, I am so thankful to you for finding me and my very elegant first member number. I hate the one when I am in the millions. !!

If you can bother to keep track with an octogenarian = I was a septugenarian when I first joined!! - it would be nice. I have so much to do and do hope that the part of my brain which thinks and reasons is not, at the moment being starved of it's nutrients.

I'm sorry to be so tardy in responding.

I don't go on h2g2 that much anymore and I just realized that you had left a message on my personal space.

Did Lil give you the 2009 picture calendar that I mailed last month? I had to fill out customs declarations and everything to get it to you.

Most of my blogging I now do on Google since it allows me to post pictures along with text.

Here is where I post now....Skankyrich did encourage me to do a travelogue for "The Post" so I still go on h3g2 with some frequency, but most of the people I used to converse with have fallen silent,

Have just read through part of your wonderful blogs, and then wanted to write about the underwater diving.

Then I got into a total mess, and now I see that what I wrote was not accepted. and I thought that I had joined as a blogger. !!It is too difficult for an 80 year old. !!

You are going to have a wonderful christmas. Lucky you. Mine is going to be rather dreary. I am having a CAT scan of my skull on christmas eve followed by an ultra sound of my neck. !! Honestly!!

I have trouble myself sometimes posting to blogs. So it's not old age...it just can be hard with the security questions that try to make sure that you are a real person.
