Hi Phred,
I'm planning to start working your journals into Post articles sometime in the near future - they may not start appearing right away, but I'd like to start prepping them for the queue.
Couple of quick questions for you:
Are you happy for us to take photos from your blog to use for individual articles?
What shall we call this series?
I'd like to start with 'Wild Horses on the Beach' and finish up with 'Visiting the Grandchildren' (which isn't on h2g2, but is on your blog). That seems to cover the entirety of one trip, and ends with a tantalising thought abut next year. Is that ok with you?
I can take care of everything else, I think. I'll be editing it, but with a gentle hand.

Hi Rich,
My laptop has been stone dead for two weeks, but last night grandchild #5 dropped it on the floor and now it's working again. I see IT Tech in his future.
Knowing how busy you are, I'd like to offer to write up parts of the latest 5 month camping circuit around America and submit it for appropriate review and edit (I am a Post Reporter afterall). I'll get to work on installments next week.
I may drop in on you in Late May to spend a night or two in your establishment and try your Waldorf salad...stock up on Waldorfs, please...

Even better, Phred! Sorry it's taken me so long to come back to you about the idea, but it's been a really busy summer and I'm only just starting to get my sanity back.
Lainey's Dad used to say that the first thing you should do if anything electrical starts to play up is drop it. He was a pretty good IT guy, could repair just about anything by dropping it from an appropriate height. Grandchild is pretty set for a promising career, I'd say.
Sadly, we're fresh out of Waldorfs. Out of season, I think. You'd be very welcome here, though, and if you can squeeze us into your travel plans I'll find time to take you on a tour of Dartmoor. I think you'd like it up there.
