How lovely to find a thread that talks about flying.
Have you read Night Flight of Antoine de Saint Euxpery? He also wrote the Little Prince. He and four other French aviators founded the first comeercial air line which flew from Toulouse to Bueno Ayres in the early 1920's. Fascinating reading. My father had pilot's licence no 100 in South Africa. Not bad!!.
