Thats an expression we use in New Orleans amongst the locals as a code between the locals, kind of like a secret handshake. Where do you come in with "Gas" never heard of it. Well maybe, is that what they mean in the Lyric "Jumping Jack Flash, You're a Gas Gas Gas?". Oh no, now you know, you're in the groove, with the folks down in N'awlins Dawlin'. Your an official "Yat" = short for people that run around saying "Where yat?" translated Where are you at? that's how you say Hello in N.O.
But really Mac Man, Mac-ster, the Mighty Mac, yeah that's the ticket, Mighty Mac,....How's ya mama?
I think they only go *after doing something* in Appalachia, though, here in Alabama, the exclamation " Listen at You ! " grammatically gets to me even now, after 10 years I've gotten used to people *fixin' to do something* but I never would myself. I would just go ahead and do it. WOL, JLC the TTP
