Hi Inkwash,
Just as in The Moomins.
That's what I usually say to explain:
The reason why I am Hatifnat comes from...
...one of my friends once said that everybody can be described as a person/character from the Moomins. It really worked, suddenly I noticed Moominmammas and Little Mys etc amongst my friends. And several Dront Edwards (Edward the Booble?), too. (I'm not very sure that the names look like this in English smiley - sadface ) Majority of my pals diagnosed me as a hatifnat. So I am. I can see why they thought so and if you no anything about hatifnats, you know something about me, too.

CU around
smiley - choc

So have you read them in the original Swedish by any chance?
It's just that I'm looking for someone to help me learn Swedish for when I move to Finland this summer.

Nooooo...
I don't know Swedish at all, only little Finnish as I'm Estonian. But you should ask Titania, she lives in Finland. As far as I can recall there were some others, too. Swedish is easier to learn than Finnish, of course.
Titanias user page is http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/U135628
but seems that she's not back yet.

Aye, doesn't look like she's posted for ages.

My sister is in Estonia at the moment, studying in Tallinn. Our parents are starting to wonder what it is about the Baltic that they never heard! smiley - biggrin

The UK. Birmingham, England to be precise.
I'm moving to Finland to live with my Swedish-Finn girlfriend who I met in an Irish pub in a Germanic part of France.
Pretty international connection, you might say. smiley - smiley

Oh, lovely!
Do you communicate in English?
You should definately come to visit Estonia when you become our neighbor. I've never seen a h2g2-er in flesh.
