Good to hear from another "Trekkie" and "Farscape" fan. Sorry I haven't replied sooner!

I tend to get on to h2g2 in bursts due to working shifts and making use of the good weather to get some badly needed work done in the garden.

I liked the first few episodes of "Farscape" but then I missed a few and when I got back to it the plot lines didn't seem to be going anywhere. Do you agree?

I've been an follower of Star Trek since it was first shown in the UK but I haven't gone as far as getting a uniform or going to the Conventions. I went to the Star Trek Exhibition when it came to Edinburgh a few years ago. It was interesting to see but in a way I came away disappointed. Maybe I went expecting to see the technology of Star Trek and only found film props.

My favourite characters from the various TV series are as follows:-
Original Series - Spock
The Next Generation - Data, The Borg and Q
DS9 - Kira Nerys and Quark
Voyager - Seven of Nine (the Borg connection again)

Hope to hear from you again - I will reply again eventually, I promise

I know what you mean about Farscape each episode is thought out quite well though the general plot seems to be always the same thing. My favourite character in DS9 is Odo but I prefer him in the older series when he could morph. I also like the battles between ships on DS9. My favourite character on Next Generation is Data also. On Voyager I like the holographic doctor. I don't tend to watch the older Star Treck maybe because the plots aren't quite as good in my opinion but I also like Spock. I haven't been to any conventions as of yet. Look forward to your reply from Matt.
