Am new to hootoo but have already contributed to lots of threads. Have never been to Guernsey or Scotland. Maybe you could write about your evacuation experiences. Have you read Tom the Pomms journal about his childhood and wartime experiences? I was born and brought up in Warwickshire but have lived in Cornwall for the last seven years,and don't want to live anywhere else!

Thank you for your message. I have, in fact, written about my evacuation from Guernsey, but I reckon that I may have revealed too much of my personal experiences, some of which are not even known to my best friends.
I hope that you are enjoying hootoo, it can become addictive and I am inclined to spend too much time on it. Who is Tom the Pomm? Can you give me his researcher number, please.
