Escape project

Well I acknowledge this is meant to be pre- not post events, but I update when I can.
I've had a really useful and helpful couple of emails from P. who I met at the weekend, who has given me a couple of more TV production companies to talk to. I've sent them both emails. The feedback from one is that they're really not thinking 3 years in the future, which is fair enough, but the person I was talking to did seem interested.
Going to be another late night tonight, in that the Wednesday roleplaying group is coming round (I run two, one on Tue, one on Wed, wish I had the energy to run a 3rd). We're doing a Space 1889 campaign, which is going OK but I'm feeling my way as GM as (a) the scenarios are set for "weeks" of action as opposed to D&D style "days"
(b) this is the first time I've GMd this, so I'm trying to remember when I last played it about 15 years ago. Ho Hum
Oh well, better get some work done

Escape event

Well, made some usefull contacts over the weekend, talking to friends in the Knot and receiving some offers of help.
I've sent an email to a TV company that was filming the Belvoir Castle fight, the chap I talked to did not think they could help directly, but did say that he would give me some hints on who to talk to.
I've had a knock back from wall to wall, they say that they already have a lot of historical programming in hand, oh well. Trouble is finding out who exactly to talk to. Still I suppose it's not meant to be easy.
I'm going to try to contact the council in Shoreham today, just to see who I need to liaise with.
I also really want to finish off the Entry that I put on here, but it's busy here at work today.
As usual had a horrible and great time over the weekend. I felt really awful and couldn't get on the field either day, which makes me ashamed, especially when I see and hear about the rest of the Regt's experiences. On the other hand I did manage to do many drill sessions with the public / children, and their thanks for a great time made it worthwhile. I must somehow get my stamina back and get back in the block.
Must also get some work done
