That's alright Justin, merely saying wht I really think. It is good, and very interesting.
We went into Cambridge on one of our visits to the family, to see King's College, and spent a whole afternoon in there. We watched some young people punting on the Cam. It was a magical day! I love both history and architecture, so this was a special treat for me, and for my wife. On another day we went into Clare College and had a look around the gardens there. We had two meals in The Copper Kettle, almost opposite King's, a place made famous by various writers. I believe it is a haunt for many students. But I don't know of what persuasion, in the widest sense of that word.
Our son teaches at a non-denominational independent school. But you will quite understand if I don't post it's name on the site. I wouldn't want to place him in a difficult position.
Good luck. You will really enjoy your undergraduate days in Cambridge.
