reading about your efforts in learning guide ml,from one oldie to another i wont see 50 again either.so only a decade behind you skins are just the colour design layout of the page ,that you sign in with

but the brunel skin is favoured by many when editing in this mode you have several clickable bits of code line break box ect header sub header , and you can edit in that skin instead of goo /alabaste /plain i see that you came from the get writing site ,several of the buttons where not on there have you found this one
http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/classic/UserDetails
whichs is the preferences button on bottem left hand side, each has its own advantages as in one skin you go straight to convos another to your front page.

But several researchers like the brunel for editing ,somewhere there is a basic program{happydude/jazzydude}wrote it Guidedog for ML i think that has a lot more clickable editing short cuts.I normaly cut and paste bits of code then adaphpt ,hope that answers your question and does not further confuse

Mind you looking at your work your picking things up fast

Thank you again, ltp, for that extended piece of very useful information.
Next time I use GuideML I'll attempt to use your ideas and links/suggestions. With you knowing a great deal about the technical side of things here, I got the impression you were a young whizz-kid rather than an old whizz-kid; the latter being a rare breed indeed!

Heck, yes! I've looked at all 3 links. There's a lot of useful stuff there alright! It'll take a bit of wading through though; so I'll take my time and study it tomorrow when I'm fresh of mind and body. Been running around all day getting my car fixed!

L O DER, Chips,
Been spyin' on mi agin?
I suppose you've noticed the change of nickname!
That's because I think I'm being 'followed around' or spied on at the moment by a certain party, but that AINT YOU so relax. Anyway, we're only talking about my learning how to use GuideML. LTP has kindly shown an interest in that ongoing process. I'm trying to think of another Entry to compose and to try it out in GuideML in various ways.
Where've yer been then?

Oh, friend o'mine with his hearing apparatus affixed more forward than most...

I'm no whiz-kid -- well, let's not mince words, I'm no kid of any kind -- but I have a pretty passable grasp of GML. If I can be of any assistance as you code your way to fame and fortune, please don't hesitate to ask!

Ah! What it is to have a good friend like yourself, Monsieur Michael de Troit!
I am searching my somewhat tiny mind for something to write for Peer Review.
Thank you for your offer of help. I'll probably call on you during the writing process if I get stuck on anything.

See you around the patch m.
