If like Halo 2 then I can't recommend Half Life on PC enough. It's now retailing for a mere £10 and is wonderful.
I've not played Halo 2 but I have (briefly) played the original Halo and playing Half Life reminded me of it quite a bit.

Halo 2 is a wonderful wonderful game. the only thing better is Half Life 2, which will set you back about 30-40 quid. it is one of the best things to have happend to me in the past year.

I have a copy of Half Life 2 but this PC is too low-spec to play it. So I'm trying to complete Half Life before I get a better PC.
