I caught your name when I did a search for Wakan. I first went to the meaning of Usernames,
which was pretty interesting. I don't know if anyone has written you any more on this (If they did
they I apoligize in advance) but i don't think your name means man in Sioux. I am familar
with the Sioux phrase for God (Great Mysterious) Wakan Tanka. Which I would say translates
to Holy spirt. Wakan comes up in another phrase: Maka ki le Wakan : Which translates to The
Earth (Maka) is Sacred (Wakan). Wakan is Sioux for Holy or Sacred

I however must confess that I don't speak this language; my knowledge is purely grounded in books.
But I thought you might like to know
