Welcome to H2G2 & thanks for signing my guestbook!
I would quote some more Lewis Carroll at you but I haven't got any of his books here at the moment.
Um... if you want some useful links and stuff within H2G2, and to generally be where other new researchers and helpful people are, I suggest you go to http://www.h2g2.com/A214796 which is the ACEs page.
We're meant to say that sort of thing to new people.

Thanks for being so kind. I am new at this.
I feel like a certain falling whale from a certain book with towels and mice.(the Guide)
Lewis Carroll's my favorite writer so excuse my quotes.
"A little nonsence now and then is rellished by the wisest men"(Charlie and the Coc. Fact.)
I'm a quote freak.
By the way, what is your boring job?
Hi
Peregrin Posted May 14, 2000
I'm doing a temporary data entry job at a firm which hires specialist medical beds.
Tomorrow I'm quitting (unless they pay me lots ) 'cos I've had more than enough!
My agency is very good though, they should be able to get me something else fairly promptly.
Don't worry about being new, nobody minds if you join in random forums or anything.
(blatant advertising... take a look at the Forum & Firkin if you like meaningless chit-chat!)
I like quotes too... trouble is, there's too many random quotes! I've got a short list of my favourite, a mixture of thought provoking and witty quotes. I put a version of it in my journal a while back, you could take a look if you want to, you might have to root around in the deep dark depths of my user journal though...

Oh, and the H2G2 Space Station at http://www.h2g2.com/A285653
Those are both pages dedicated to chatting and nothing else particularly useful

Thanks for the links.
I was told about this place from WhiteRabbit-
I know him from elsewhere. Nice guy.
I liked the Guide so much that he thought I'd feel at home here.
I'll check out your quotes- if I can find them.
