well who's still here?

Hello, not been in for a bit but a gentle nudge (or maybe a kick!) from Scorp has woken me from my sleeping beauty length snooze 
Tell me all your news and I might just share a bit of mine over a 
(still haven't kicked the leathal bean and now they tell me I'm to stop the 
too, noooooo)
hope to see some old friends and new on my favourite threads. I was so glad to see that the questions thread is up to 4500+

I put this on the ask page but I thought I'd seek the views of my 'special' friends! I'll keep you posted as to how it is going, so far the website is up and running and we are hoping to go and visit the bank and funeral directors/hospices next week. The only thing that is hard is that it is dependant on people losing loved ones and at such a hard time in thier life. I wish though that we had been given the number for just this sort of thing when we needed it

My other half is hoping to set himself up providing non religious funeral ceremonies for people who would like a funeral service but for reasons of personal choice don't want the religious aspect. I just wondered what peoples views were on setting up a service like this. I know people don't like to talk about death but it's about the only thing you can be sure of (even taxes can be dodged on occasion!) We have set up a website but I don't know what the rules at h2g2 are for printing it in a discussion like this.
