Hi chorlton, haven't seen you for a while, hope you're well and things are going fine.
I talked to Icy today, fewer and fewer people are playing the telegram game, which is a shame. Your submissions are sorely missed, don't you think you could find the time to pop in and play again? It's only once a week after all, and it would be really great to have you back.
Just tell me what it would need to bribe you
Bel

Hi B'el
So sorry that it's been so long, big problem with RL getting in the way. I will pop over there now and get this weeks word and get the finest brains known to man working on it!

Glad you left a message as I'd sort of got out of the habit of posting. i need a kick every now and then! Been a bit low as I went for a few jobs and didn't get them but that gives me more time here! every clould has a silver lining! Going for my Judo yellow belt tomorrow too so hoping I get that and it gives me a boost.
meanwhile I've had a little too much so might have to have a lie down! hope all is wwell with you and in RL and in your official capacity ( I like the apple wine entry!)

It's very late here, so 'll go to bed now myself.
Yellow belt is the next degree after white/yellow, isn't it? with the test.
When did you start doing Judo? My nephew just did his orange belt. (I think it was orange ).
Glad you like my entry (there's another one on the FP this weekend ).
Goodnight chorlton, talk soon

Hello B'el
Thanks for getting in touch, like I said I often need a bit of a shove but it's nice to se that the thread has been busy today!
We took up judo in May, bit of a health kick thing. The girls started and a few parents, instead of sitting around watching thought we should join in. 4 of us yesterday did our grading and got very good feedback and our yellow belts. The girls got orange tags which, as they are so young, was really good. One chap who does it is deaf so it's fantastic that he did so well too. It's a really good club. Not only that but today for the first time ever I did a two mile run (not quite a marathon but I was still chuffed!) I'll have to look and see if there are any entries on judo, maybe I could write one. Definately feeling proud of myself
Are the anagram threads still around? must catch up on missed threads
chat soon

Hi chorlton, I haven't done any sport in ages, so well done you, I'm full of admiration
The anagram threads have been more or less dead as there wasn't anybody there to solve anagrams.
Maybe try the chainword and the golden rule game instead? Doppelganger is quiet, too. Good to have you back, that shuld boost some games

Hiya Bel
Thoght I'd send you a special hello as having checked a few of the threads on my page it looks like you are still here and going from strengh to strengh.
Took a break from here for a while although I sometimes somehow I never quite got round to diving back in. I got a bit obsessed with the computer and thought going cold turkey for a while would help. Still theres a lot of good points to it I'll just have to limit it a bit
Off to check the Telegrams. It was Scorp who gave me a nudge,

Hi chorlton, it's fanatstic to see you again.
I do hope you'll not leave completely again, we all missed you lots.
Sounds as if my various journals cluttered up your PS, eh?
How are things at your end?

Oh you know, too much coffee, too much . Did I tell you I took up jogging though? I can do three miles now reasonably comfortably and am thinking of entering for a 10k charity run in Sep. Still working nights but I like it mostly (except a bout half hour before I go in when I could happily sit on the sofa!)
Just come back from a week in Oban, beautiful and the odd rop of ( is Air still about!)
you going to get away this year?

(off to get the kids so might not answer for a bit....6 months maybe)

No idea about air, was he ever in here? Haven't seen him for ages. All the word games In uesd to post to are invaded by the numerous chikis, so I unsubscribed from all.
Glad you had a good time in Oban.
Don't you dare staying away for another six months.

Chikis? never heard that one before! It's a shame that some people have an side but I suppose all you can do is ignore them. Puzzled over FROZEN in the park. As usual I read all the good entries already there and its not always easy to think of something when there's already good ones there! Still 10 long hours to fill at work and I can only take in so much ironing! Not only that but I shall be at work with a friend who is a big brother fan (oh dear) I did point out that we could just go upstairs and watch people sleeping

I've never watched a single Big Brother, I can't se the appeal of that. I guess I'm too old
And I'm sure you'll think of something good for FROZEN, your telegrams have always been good.
Key: Complain about this post
