el D – for the sake of brevity and out of respect for my fellow Glums

Hi! Thanks for your welcome.
I got into this site by way of the Mornington Crescent game and that's where I've mostly posted. The more I see of h2, the crazier it gets – which can't be bad! I really admire the P.U.D.D.I.N.G. page, it's in the best tradition of "Grumpy Old Men/Women" and only to be encouraged.
Feel free to browse my "Space" – though there's not a great amount on it as yet. Maybe see you in "The Crescent" sometime.

Hi,

Thanks for the 'new game anyone 2'. I took a look and of course couldn't resist having a go!

It certainly was a great trip. We love travelling in the US and have the definite advantage of having family living there – good planning, that!
A few years back we bought an old RV in Florida and wandered all over the place, finally selling it in the Bay Area California. We covered some 6000mls and about 18 or 19 states and took in the Smokies, Lake of the Ozarks Hills, Minneapolis, Mt Rushmore and the Badlands in South Dakota and Wyoming, Yellowstone and the Canyons of Utah. When people say they don't like the US I feel that they can't really have given it a fair trial – there's so much variety, you can't possibly not like all of it. We may not like the politics... smiley - erm let's not go there!... but the country, and the 'man in the street' are so different from all that.
Off soap-box now!

PS Thanks too for the smiley - tea
