How's Bournemouth?

Excellent. I'm currently bouncing between there and here (Basingstoke) at the moment, as I took too much stuff with me to take back in one trip (yes: I took my entire drum kit down there with me!) and I'm trying to get the most out of my accommodation there as I'll still be paying rent until July.

My course hasn't quite matched my expectations but nevertheless it's been great, it is made up of quite varied components but I enjoy them all. I never thought I'd be studying Marxism, but we have been, as well as all sorts of great media theory that we never touched at A-level. Next year should be even better as I've chosen to do theory modules on Media Hype, Manufacturing News, Interactive Audiences and Interactive Narrative. We'll also learn to do more complicated stuff with the software. Plus we'll be getting those flashy new iMacs to play on! Whats made my course even better is that, as it was restructured for my near, we have no exams!

I've also managed to find a significantly better house to live in next year. So things are looking good! I'm only sad that the year went so fast - if the first year flew by, how fast will the second and third years go when we're made to do even MORE work?! One Uni is over I'll have to try and *gulp* pretend to be adult enough to get some sort of fulltime job, and all that jazz . If only I could go back to 6th form...

You know, I was really pleased to meet you in London in July. I don't know why I didn't say that before now. One evening is definitely not enough - I could have spent a whole evening with most people there, I expect. Hope things are going well still.

There's a girl from Basingstoke turned up and I told her she wasn't the only one. I wonder if she's still there. Have a look here. U193155
