Aaah thanks Websailor. How sweet of you to remember.

We had a really good party last night and today all the friends and family who came down to Devon and stayed over at the local hotel dropped in for some more drinks and party leftovers before travelling home again. Lelly and her husband and daughters left us at 6 pm and we just flopped down exhaused and fell asleep on the sofa! (We still have two friends from Kent with us till tomorrow who have been a great help and who also are exhausted and asleep on the sofa). An exhausting but great weekend. Just think perhaps we are getting too old for parties (might go on a cruise or something for our Golden Wedding!)

Glad you had a good weekend. The weather turned out pretty well too didn't it?

I think crashing out on the sofa has something to do with our age. I have done the same this evening having spent the entire weekend out in the fresh air fundraising for my charity. Thursday/Friday was awful and we were dreading another weekend of standing in the pouring rain trying to look cheerful and positive

Saturday was miserable to start with but cleared up. Dull and cool, and today has been glorious, hot, sunny and breezy. Perfect!

Lots to do tomorrow, the aftermath of a busy weekend, and I expect you are the same.
