Hey I have seen much worse. Münster is a real nice place to be 
To be more specific I like it for some of its nice restaurants for example, 'cause you know thats where a field researcher for the guide has to do their job *g*.

I can confirm Your statements about Münster :
In the last 20 years I have visited this - at the first glance wonderful - town many times.
And there is always one fix point : rain (sometimes in combination with these bells).
My friend in Münster sometimes calls me on the mobile , asking if I am in Münster , because it is heavy raining ....
I have been living in a quite similar town in Germany called Goslar. It is like living in a museum, conservated for visitors.
