Hey, why don't you just try and move to a different place? Like Telgte or Warendorf for instance? They have'nt got as many churches as Münster there. Don't know about the rain though...
And - to be honest - I doubt it's less boring there.
I've moved to near Bremen almost two years ago. As far as churchbells are concerned that helped...
