School Sports Days
Posted Sep 28, 2000
What is the point of sports days at school?
We spend all day running around, throwing stuff and we get sod all at the end of it all. Even if you win it means nothing much, apart from you're a bit better at it than 9 other guys...
Well next year someone else can do 200m, shot, javelin & triple jump.
I'm off for a lie down....

Huddersfield, UK

When visiting the UK, beware of Huddersifeld. It is supposedly the largest town in Europe (Some smart guy decided that you need a cathedral to be large enough to be a city).
As my hometown I can tell you that it is worth visiting if you are on a galactic quest to visit every town on every planet. Not much happens although we were picked for some international fair that only English people turned up at. Oh and it was here that Rugby was invented (it's true I swear to you!! look it up)
The Best thing about Huddersfield is that it is home to a H2G2 researcher called Rickyboy who at this moment is probably sitting at his computer, dead or both.
Thank you for your time, carry on with your life folks!!
