I've started to H2G2 on not the best of starts. Probably of my lateness of arrival. As this is my own journal, I will keep my freedom of expression to the medium.
I join h2g2 on the hope that I will finally be noticed for once, as at the moment at my school, I am the least noticeable being there. According to an IQ test, I have an IQ of about 143, which seems to be quite good for a 12yr old. I am a member of the group known as Mensa (hopefully some of you might know of it or be part of it) and my favourite sunjects involve mathematics, chemistry and physics. If you heard how I say this in my head, I am probably one of the most pessimistic person in the entire universe. I don't like dried leaves in boiling water; nor being toned down or cheap perfume. 
I first started listening to HHGTTG about 2 yrs ago, when my dad first handed me his salvaged childhood tapes of it. I listened over and over again, especially to the episode when Zaphod has to suck Rooster's tongue:
Rooster: The yellow stripes are high in protein. The green stripes have vitamin B and C complexes, and the little pink flowers contain wheat-germ extract.
Zaphod: "What are the brown stains?"
Rooster: "Barbecue sauce!"
Zaphod: Yuck! It tastes as bad as it looks!
Rooster: I know; when I have to suck that end a bit, I usually have to suck the otner end too.
Zaphod: Why, what's in that?
Rooster: Antidepressants.
