It’s compiled by researchers just like you and it's something YOU can take part in. You have made a great start by opening your space I hope when you get to know us a little better you'll join in the general silliness and maybe even write for The Guide - but there's no rush - and it's not compulsory

Do some exploring and you'll find that the site has everything from the nonsense japing to debates on any number of diverse subjects. Many lasting friendships and relationships have been born on hootoo. It's kind of an online pub and encyclopaedia.

I am sure that you will love this community as much as we do There's lots of things to see, clubs to join and people to meet - please don't be shy - just jump right in - this is a friendly place. But be careful - it can become quite addictive - believe me I know

ok, so at the bottom, i've noticed this key.... thing. what does it do and what is t for?

What "key thing" can you be a bit more precise

I'm happy to explain it if you explain to me what you mean

well, at the bottom, there are these 5 little dot things, and some of them are red, no idea what it means. they appear at the bottom of the screen when you are reading a message or whatnot.

They are like quick links to

A: An older reply to the parent Posting
B: The parent Posting, to which this is a reply
C: A newer reply to the parent posting
D: The first reply to this Posting


The dots appear on each posting - does this help?

noses are really funny looking things, aren't they?

Yes, but wouldn't we look strange without them - and ears too ....

ya.... but those "Bratz" dolls, every little girl wants to look like them, but they don't have noses. when i was little, i went over to my friends house, and in her room was a couple of those dolls and a packet of cards with fish on them (go fish cards. i didn't know that you had to buy a compleatly different deck of cards to play that game.) and the 6 card had a picture of a girl fish, and i took the doll and the card and compared them, and they looked exactly the same.

I've seen those Bratz dolls - not really my scene

What toy companies are coming out with often times worries me.

Then again there's lots out there that makes me wish that I was a kid again

At least I can afford some of them now - even if I do look like a fool using some of the stuff

i know what you mean. i live next to this park, and theres a huge concrete dinosaur, and all of the little kids can slide through the eyes. and sometimes i wish i were small anough to fit through again. i even remember the day i got stuck and found out i wouldn't be able to go through again. that made me sad. but then again, it meant i was now old enough to climb on top of the dinosaur.

I remember seeing something on the net about "playgrounds" for seniors - they were actually a gentle exercise circuit but made up of apparatus like standings swings and stuff. A great idea! Looked like interesting fun
