I get the impression that someone stuffed up somewhere. When you first registered as a researcher, you were supposed to have someone post a message to you saying something like: "Hi. I'm an ACE (Assistant Community Editor) If you want to know stuff, let me know. Meanwhile, here's helpful links and stuff. Bye."
But you don't seem to have that message here. I'm not an ACE, so I'm not going to do it for them, but I'll let you borrow mine if you want. Just click on my nickname above this message (where it says 'Jerms'), and you'll end up in my home forum. Click on the message that says: "You've been ACEd!" - that's the message that I go sent when I first started, so you can follow that back to the ACE that sent it. I'd complain (just a little) if I were you - you've been here a lot longer than I have, and nothing's happened yet.
Come to think of it, are you even subscribed to any conversations?
Have a happy life.

Hi Jerms!
The older researchers pages sometimes don't have welcome messages on them because they haven't been reactivated since the BBC takeover. Also, sometimes the researchers haven't come back. That's why there aren't any forums showing on some pages.
We mainly do the welcome stuff on new user's spaces, as they are the ones who are most likely to need help. The pre-BBC ones usually know their way around, if and when they come back! Of course, should they need us, we will always be here!
Hope this helps.
not ignoring anyone, nope, not me, honest!

Noooo, don't do that!
I agree though, it probably is a bit confusing!
You could always come talk to me on my space! Except it's 3am and I have to go sleep now! But I will be back tomorrow!
