the best thing about summer re-runs is that they let me catch up on my reading Except I'm going to watch "The West Wing" and "Dark Angel" reruns.
_The Ultimate Egoist_ is pretty good; massive collection of Ted Sturgeon's stuff. It does however make me wish for the next installment of the Dark Tower series, just for relief from all the deep thought. Not that Stephen King's stuff isn't deep-- it's just that he's straightforward.
Next week I start reading _L'Inferno_ , Singleton's translation. I'm not sure if I'll read the annotations; I'm reading it for fun and not study.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
