My hitchhiking has taken me to Australia a time or two, and I've enjoyed myself immensely in Perth and Newcastle. Oh yeah, I've also been to Sydney.
I'm an official greeter on H2G2, with the fanciful title of Assistant Community Editor (ACE for short), and I'm here to help you find your way through the maze to the cheesiest site on earth. Here's a few links to help you get started:
The Official ACE page is here: http://www.h2g2.com/A214796 It has some more greeting type stuff, and some more links to help you get started. There's more of the same, and a few extra, at the official Newcomers Welcoming Page: http://www.h2g2.com/A5752
When you decide you're ready to write that first guide entry, you'll probably want to check this out first: http://www.h2g2.com/A53209 It has the guidelines for what H2G2 is looking for in an Approved Guide Entry. Of course, if you're not looking for fame, you can write whatever you choose.
And whenever you run into technical problems, the GuideML clinic will teach you how to solve them: http://www.h2g2.com/A187229
The Post, the site's newspaper, is over here: http://www.h2g2.com/u54963 It's pretty cool, and a new issue comes out every week.
If you have any questions, just let me know, and welcome once again.
Greetings!

You know one of those napkins that is blue checked, like the dress that Dorothy had in the Wizard of OZ.

Dorothy may have worn Gingham in the Wizard of Oz, but I think you will find that most adolescents in the late 70s and early 80s also had to wear gingham shirts to school. Girls had to wear Gingham dresses.
But who wants to eat corn chips anyway? They're not a patch on Nachos!

ANd if you don't mind me saying... ~grin~... Nachos are not a patch on a good wholesome doughnut...
