well there it is

1 year has now elapsed since i left school and started uni! I must say that it has been an experience i didn't expect. Too much drinking and not enough studying but i survived and now am on my holidays before begining 2nd year. But just so i can get this off my chest...... binge drinking is bad! Don't do it or you will pay the ultimate price the next day. A full run through of every embarassing thing you did the night before in front of your friends! Oh dear..... perhaps i should go bury my head in the sand

Older
Posted Jan 21, 2001
Ok as you may be able to see i have not visited my own page for quite some time but in the time i have been away i would like to think that i had grown and become older and more reasoned than before. I have now been at uni for 4 months and have become involved with a group of really great people that i like to think of as my best friends. Although most of them went to my own school there are others that are new and have become my second family. In the few short months that i have been at university i have seen and done things that i could never have dreamed when i started writing in h2g2 way back in the begining of the year 2000.
Being a medical student means that i am having a slightly different time at uni from most of my peers however this only adds to the coulour of our disscussions at lunchtime and around the bars and clubs of glasgow.
It is funny to think how much things change in one short year. And a year is short, infact, the older i get the shorter the years get. Anyway i am glad to be back

Farscape
Posted Oct 8, 2000
Hi people I'm hoping this gets a reply. I absolutly love farscape and would like to write a guide entry for it. I really don't know where to start or what slant to put on it. After the disaster of my Science Fiction and Fantasy guide entry I would absolutly love help this time so that criticisms from people who have far too much time on their hands can be avoided. Thanks a bunch

channel 5
Posted Jul 3, 2000
Is channel 5 not the strangest channel that has ever been created? None of the movies it shows are any good the soap operas are rather poor and its "after dark" shows are sleazy and down right disgusting. Do you think that all the other channels when approached with a rather bad new show say "Thanks but no thanks." And then add " I'm sure channel 5 will take it?

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
