Back from new York, Back from Alta Utah
Posted May 2, 2000
Spring vacation is unfortunately over but it was a great one. Now I have to get to work to pay off the enormous credit card bills I seem to have run up over 3 weeks
I was surprised at how beautiful New York City was. Compared to the 1980s (which was the last time I was there for longer than a day), NYC is really clean, the people are fantastic and I even felt relatively safe most of the time.
Alta, Utah is a wonderful ski resort which only allows skiers (no snowoards)and which had over 100 inches of snow as late as April 21st. I finally managed to get down the blue (intermediate) slopes without my knees knocking or breaking a leg!
Yippeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

New York City
Posted Apr 6, 2000
Tomorrow I'm off to New York City for a while, so if you post something to one of my threads, please don't be offended if I don't answer it right away. It's because I'm down on Canal Street eating a hot Pastrami on Rye and trying to sell phony Rolex watches

The Passage of Time on a Friday Afternoon as opposed to Monday Morning
Posted Mar 31, 2000
It seems that the time continuom is warped. The hour that one sits at his desk before being able to leave the office for the weekend is double the hour that one needs to drive to work on Monday morning. Can anyone explain that to me?
