The girl who works in the cubicle next to mine has made no bones about what she thinks of me. From very early on in our quite limited relationship, she has let me know that she thinks I'm an idiot. And compared to her, perhaps I am. Because it seems to me that where work is concerned, women are for the most part much smarter than men. I'ts the same with my girlfriend. Just now I was trying to put one paper bag inside another when she walked by and told me to fold the bag first and then put it in the other bag. That really worked. Anyway, back to the girl in the cubicle next to mine. I was talking to my boss, again--a woman, in her office, when the girl who works in the cubicle next to mine came in and asked her a question. I said, "That's a very good question," and nodded at my boss, making light and having a little fun. But the girl would have none of it. She completely ignored me and spoke only to my boss. I noticed then that she had a pot belly and poor posture. After she left, I said to my boss, "The girl doesn't like me." My boss laughed, and then I said, "That damn fatty."
