As for what you are doing here, well, maybe I can help. I've been here since it was mostly fields, so I can tell you that we all ask that question, and no satisfactory reason has been given, which is why so many forums are given over entirely to debauchery. 
But, while you're asking yourself what you're doing here, you might as well have some things to do. I am here to welcome you on behalf of the ACEs, who are the official door-greeters for the site. I've compiled a few links to help you get acquainted with the place:
