We picked the wrong time of the year, just at the end of the season, so conkers were a bit thin on the ground. 
Out of curiosity, what would you have envisioned as the perfect conker photo for your entry?
(someone else has whinged on the Entry

There *had* to be whinge? Not at all.
Since you ask...
It seems I'm not the only one who thinks that it would be nice if the subject of the photo was in focus.
And if you're going to ask me what *I* would have done for a photo, I'd have taken a photo of an actual horse chestnut *tree*, maybe with a bit of sky to one side of it, then either arranged for or photoshopped a conker (in focus) over the top of the sky bit of that image. 
But hey, I'm not a photographer.
But don't take it that I'm not pleased the entry has had some attention, I am!
