Over the past several years, I have read your postings here and admired you. I know that most (if not all) of those time, you did not think too highly of me, and to be honest, I did not care... I still found you profoundly intelligent, articulate, and always a pleasure to read (even, perhaps especially, some of your most provocative posts), and have derived much enjoyment from your contributions during my four and a half years here so far.
Some time ago I noticed you had been absent, and I have felt your absence. I hope this till not continue.
I'm no scientist (I'm an accountant, actually), but I always enjoy and learn from your contributions on SEx, the Forum, and Ask. I know I'm not nearly as stimulating, but I hope you will see fit to not deprive me and everyone else of your imput in the future?
Whatever you think of me, I wish you all of the best, now and in the future.
Best Regards,
PC

By the way, I apologize for some grammatical and spelling errors in the above.
It's been a LONG week.
Anyway... I look forward to seeing you around. Whatever that might be worth.

I am flattered by your admiration. I am embarrassed if I may have given the impression I didn't like you. I am encouraged by the fact that you didn't care. I am grateful for your praise. Thank you for your thoughts.
I have been absent. I will not be back in force as I was, but I'll be around. I may even, from time to time, be provocative. Hoo knows?
