Just passing by, and stopped in to say we love the phrase "for Bod's sake". How about "Oh, for the love of Bod...", or "Bod Almighty!"?
Oh great. Now we have Frank's theme on the brain. We'll be humming that for hours.

With me it's usually either Policeman Plod or the incongruously sexy Aunt Flo sax that sticks...

That'd be PC Copper, I reckon Funny, the Aunt Flo theme just doesn't do it for us!
We just had to go download them all, didn't we. Then we found Stop The Pigeon, and Roobarb and Custard, and Mr Ben, and Ulysses31, and, and....Willo the Wisp *hangs head in shame*
Showing our age here a bit There should be an smiley!

If you're looking for a really cool theme tune, you won't go far wrong with Chorlton and the Wheelies - classic stuff.
"Nice photo" (assuming you don't mean the one of Bod...) unfortunately had the wrong half cut off.

Chorlton Now that show was completely off it's trolley!
Ahh, they don't make 'em like they used to. Where's that nostalgic smiley when you need it! Feeling the need to go dig out the Trap Door vids... "oohhh globbits!"
Oh, and we don't get you about the photo? Wrong half cut off? Want to explain, before our imagination runs away with itself?!
Jess, for Symphony
Why don't they re-run this stuff on the satellite? Endless repeats of shite, but not the good stuff. No fair!

"'ello, Little Old Lady." - "Chorlton, you great spotty lump!" etc.
The weird thing about those shows is they really are as good as you remember them. My mate Steve has a complete set of Blake's 7 videos, and my goodness what a disappointment it is to watch them and realise you used to think it was brilliant. I caught a rerun of "The Six Million Dollar Man" about twelve years ago, and thought "hang on - this was brilliant when I was nine years old. Why has it suddenly become badly acted cak?"
But my stepsister has bought her kiddie a video of every single colour episode of Ivor the Engine, and sticks it on to keep him quiet at family get togethers. It has the strange side effect of keeping everyone between 25 and 40 quiet too... it's STILL brilliant. As is Bagpuss, and the Clangers, and all the Trumpton-related stuff. The miracle of DVD box sets allows us to realise that in the case of sixties and seventies BBC kids shows, it's NOT just rose tinted spectacles - they really were absolute quality stuff.
Re: wrong half - the original, unedited photo of me also featured my better half. Unfortunately her presence apparently didn't fit the theme of the page I linked to, so she got cut off the pic. I'll see if I can find a link to the original...

Hey Hoo
That's one of the nice things about having kids....we get to buy videos and claim they're for them! Honest, we didn't buy Bagpuss or The Flumps for us, really we didn't Although the whole System admits to being major ScoobyDoo fans....but only the really early ones from '68/'69. Nothing with that bloody irritating Scrappy thing *shudder*
As for Blakes7...we love! They ran the whole show start to finish on Sky not so long ago, and we watched them all. Not because it's stood the test of time, mind. Just coz our Other Half loves it, and we sat and pointed and giggled, and generally took the pxss mercilessly!
Right, we're off to persuade someone small and choccy-covered that he really does want a nap....so we can grab one too!
